About this place
Thick, chewy Sanuki udon makes for a satisfying bowl. At Debeso, the noodles are cut and boiled to order, so a cold bowl can take around 20 minutes to cook. Order early, then enjoy a snack such as ume suisho or Debeso’s dashi broth mixed with shochu while you wait.
For a hot bowl, try the simple kake udon, served with a light broth, or kama-tama udon topped with a raw egg. Cold options include chilled kake and bukkake udon, as well as a simple bowl with grated daikon and soy sauce. The chicken-tempura udon with ume plum and shiso is available hot or cold.
There are plenty of izakaya-style ways to enjoy a meal here, from adding tempura to your udon to choosing several small plates to go with a drink. Tempura options include vegetables and chikuwa, and assorted selections are available in sets of 3 or 5 kinds. Other snacks include sashimi and agedashi tofu. It’s a good fit for a meal centred on udon or a final bowl after drinks.
The restaurant has terrace seating, and dogs are permitted both indoors and outdoors.
